Health Services Visioning Committee
The Health & Wellness Advisory Committee serves as an advisory body to Council in order to facilitate action on matters related to health and wellness within the Township of Norwich. The aim is to familiarize residents with the products, services, and resources they can currently access close to home and, wherever possible, work to improve access to additional services. This work will help to strengthen and build upon local community partnerships between municipal government, the business community, local agencies, and citizens of the Township of Norwich. The committee has identified the following priority areas through public consultation: Governance, Medical Centre, Information, Senior’s Housing, Ancillary Services, and Public Transportation. These priority areas will evolve as different projects are completed and as additional opportunities present themselves. The Health & Wellness Advisory Committee will soon be launching their own website, www.norwichhealth.ca, to help provide residents with one central location for local health and wellness related information.
